Why not undertake one of the classic marathons? From its earliest days Berlin has been a bustling hub of commerce that welcomed other cultures with open arms. Its division and then re-unification in 1989 dominate its history. After much of the city was destroyed in World War II, it has grown to become a fantastic destination famous for its art galleries, museums, historical sites, cafés and nightlife. Places to visit include the Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall.
Depart the UK on Friday 26 September 2014, return on Monday 29 September.
Race day is Sunday 28 September.
