Support us during RAG Week
Have fun and raise money for our work at the same during RAG Week at your university or college. There are lots of things you can do.
This year we went to the RAG Conference at Durham University which was from the 5-8 September. Thank you to everyone who came to our stall and said hello. Congratulations to Sarah M from Oxford Rag who won the iPod Touch and Theodora from Plymouth Rag who won the paintball voucher. Read about what it's like to be a RAG Organiser.
Why not?
- Sign up to our Make Runaways Safe campaign and get your friends to sign up too.
- Take part in a sponsored 'sleep out' on campus.
- Organise a sponsored 'bed push'. Simply decorate a bed then race it around your campus or over a challenging distance.
- Take part in the London Marathon or another running event.
- Take part in the annual 'Collection for children' either through a 'Rag raid' or another type of collection.
- Go carol singing or ask your local choir to put on a concert in aid of The Children's Society.
- Hold a 'silent disco' and charge people to attend.
- Hold a karaoke event in your student union and charge people to sing their favourite songs.
- Hold a 'dance-off' with all participants paying a fee to take part.
- Organise a quiz night or set up your own version of University Challenge.
- Take part in an abseil or parachute jump or one of our other extreme challenges.
- Donate your unwanted clothes and goods by holding a bag drop on your campus. You can drop your stuff off at your local The Children's Society shop.
