We understand the great commitment our runners make which is why we provide first class support for everyone who takes up the challenge for us. The money you raise makes a huge difference to children's lives and in return we like to make sure your day is extra special.
We have a team of experts on hand everyday leading up to your big day, who will support you in any way they can, be it fundraising advice, motivational support or simply providing you with all the tools you need to make your marathon journey a memorable one.

Ballot applications
The Ballot closed after 125,750 people applied in just over 11 hours.
If you're successful in the ballot we'd love you to run for The Children’s Society running team. As an own place runner there isn’t a fundraising target or a registration fee and you will still receive all of the benefits above.
Can I run for you if I get my own place?
Yes!
To join our team simply contact our events team by telephone or 020 7841 4558 or major-events@childrenssociety.org.uk, saying that you have your own place. No registration fee is required and there is no minimum sponsorship target, just raise as much as you can and you will get all the same benefits as those with a guaranteed place.
