Follow the 13.1 mile route from Newcastle City Centre to South Shields, taking in the great crowds and Red Arrows display as you wind your way to the finish line.

By joining The Children's Society’s Bupa Great North Run Team, you will be helping children who have nowhere else to turn. Like the 100,000 young people who run away from home each year, usually because family life has become unbearable. we work tirelessly to give the most disadvantaged and vulnerable young people a better start in life. Unlike these children, run because you want to not because you have to.

Can I run for you if I have my own place?

If you have been successful in securing your own place we would love you to run for us on the day as part of our team.

To join our team simply contact us clearly stating that you have your own place. No registration fee is required and there is no minimum sponsorship target.
