Run for Runaways

If you want to set yourself a real challenge why not take part in one of our runs and make a positive difference to the lives of vulnerable children who feel they have no choice but to run away. 

We have ‘gold bond’ places available in the following runs:

The London Virgin Marathon 2012
We still have a few places left in one of the biggest running events in the world, the 2012 Virgin London Marathon. Why not do something incredible and run the full 26 miles and help us support more young runaways.

Bupa London 10,000 27 May 2012
If the marathon seems too big a challenge, why not sign up for London’s biggest 10k. The route starts and finishes in St. James’s Park and takes you past many of London’s famous sights.

Bupa Great North Run 16 September 2012
Be part of our 85 member strong running team at the Bupa Great North Run this year which is the world’s largest half marathon, from Newcastle to South Shields.

'Own place' entries

If you already have a place in a running event we would love for you to ‘run for runaways’ and raise sponsorship money for us. We will provide you will top quality support and everything you need to get the most out of your personal challenge.

We understand the commitment given by all of our runners so that is why we provide all members of our running team with first class support throughout their challenge, including:

• sponsorship pack with running vest
• fundraising resources
• training advice
• invitations to post-race parties where applicable
• ongoing contact via a regular newsletter
• telephone support

What if I want to take part in a run that's not listed?

Contact our Supporter Care team on 0300 303 7000 and we'll try to give you as much information as possible about your event and securing your own place through ballot. Once your place is confirmed we can send you a running pack to get you started.
