GRIM challenges 2011
The Children's Society wants to create a society where children can be children, childhood is respected and every child is valued for who they are. You can make a difference and support our work by participating in these GRIM challenges. We would love you to represent us.
GRIM challenges are open to anyone over the age of 17 who is in good health. Entrants have an abundance of stamina, strength and willpower, each fundraising for their own chosen charity. There are currently two events for 2011:
The Duathlon, Aldershot – 22 October 2011
This challenge involves a 5k run and 20k bike ride over rocks, hills, moguls, cammo nets, mud and the sand dune. This duathlon will test you to your limits on the army's vehicle testing tracks. Only the brave should apply!

The Original, Aldershot – 3 and 4 December 2011
Run, wade and crawl this fantastic 8 mile challenge held on Army vehicle test tracks. You can enter as an individual or as a team but one thing’s for sure – it will be fun-filled and very muddy!
