This joint report with UNICEF UK, produced by the Counter Human Trafficking Bureau (CHTB), assesses the costs and financial benefits of establishing a legal guardianship service to protect and support unaccompanied and separated migrant children. Our analysis demonstrates that the economic case for a guardianship service becomes even stronger when we factor in financial benefits once separated children reach adulthood.
