Children’s Worlds: The International Survey of Children’s Well-Being

© The Children's Society

We are pleased to be one of the main partners in the development of the Children’s Worlds study. Children’s Worlds is a global survey of children’s subjective well-being.

The survey was designed by a group of renowned international child researchers, with input from children and young people. The purpose of the study is to collect data on children’s lives, their daily activities and time use and, above all, on their own perception of their well-being.

We are working in partnership with researchers from:

  • Brazil
  • Germany
  • Ireland
  • Israel
  • Manetoba (Canada)
  • Nepal
  • Palestine
  • Romania
  • South Africa
  • Spain
  • Turkey
  • US (part of).

The Children's Society will be running the survey in England in 2012 with children and young people aged eight to 13 years old.  If you would like to carry out the survey in your local area or school, please email us at: well-being@childrenssociety.org.uk.
