We are pleased to be one of the main partners in the development of the Children’s Worlds study. Children’s Worlds is a global survey of children’s subjective well-being.

Latest news

We recently met up in Italy with partners from around the world to discuss the latest developments in this survey, which is being undertaken in 2012. We are a lead partner in this initiative and are currently running the survey in England.

We are looking for children and young people in years six and eight to take part in this exciting project. If you would like to carry out the survey in your local area or school, please email us at: well-being@childrenssociety.org.uk

The survey

The survey was designed by a group of renowned international child researchers, with input from children and young people. The purpose of the study is to collect data on children’s lives, their daily activities and time use and, above all, on their own perception of their well-being.

We are working in partnership with researchers from:

  • Brazil
  • Germany
  • Uganda
  • Israel
  • Manitoba (Canada)
  • Nepal
  • Palestine
  • Romania
  • South Africa
  • Spain
  • Turkey
