Quarterly survey
We are now in the second year of running our quarterly surveys of well-being involving thousands of children and young people aged 8 to 15 across the UK.
These survey waves have provided us with good evidence that The Good Childhood Index is a stable measure, which is not influenced by daily or seasonal fluctuations in mood. Across the different waves, average well-being remained the same overall and for all 10 key areas of children’s lives that we asked about except for ‘school’, which we would expect to be subject to seasonal variation.
