The Rise Project is a specialist service for boys and young men aged 11 to 25 who have been trafficked to the UK. We provide holistic support through:

  • one-to-one advice and advocacy, to help young people navigate the complex legal systems and to support them to access their full rights and entitlements. As part of our model of working, we also focus on long-term outcomes to help increase young people’s understanding of risk, safety and healthy relationships to minimise the risk of them being re-trafficked
  • a fortnightly boys’ group in partnership with ECPAT-UK which includes a mix of issue-based group work as well as outings and activities to reduce isolation, link young people into a wider support network and give them opportunities to enjoy new experiences
  • awareness-raising workshops for professionals to help them recognise trafficking indicators and identify potentially trafficked young people.
