Established in 2005, the Youth Development Project of the Diocese of London is a partnership between The Children's Society and the Church of England Diocese of London. 

The partnership draws on the historic roots of The Children's Society and reflects both the continued importance of the link between the two organisations and the Christian ethos upon which The Children's Society is based.

This innovative project has led to the creation of a three-year written youth strategy that has been forged from the recommendations of young people and youth leaders. This is because we know that young people are best placed to identify what they want. 

This programme now works with young people and churches to make this youth strategy a reality, allowing young people to take an active and positive role in their church and/or community.
