Children affected by adult substance misuse

For children living in families where parents are affected by drugs or alcohol misuse, life can be extremely challenging. These children are often affected by domestic violence, poverty, low self-esteem and may be forced into prostitution.

With a lack of dedicated services and funding to address this area, we are leading the way in developing programmes to identify and support these children.

Essex Young People's Drug and Alcohol Service

Essex Young People's Drug and Alcohol Service (EYPDAS) is based in Chelmsford but works across Essex, supporting young people up to their nineteenth birthday.
