The Children’s Society runs 3 Children’s Centres in north Solihull (on behalf of Solihull MBC) – Kingshurst, Yorkswood and Castle Bromwich, where we provide services for families with children aged under 5, and children under 8 who have additional needs.
- Our Family Support Team offer one-to-one intensive support to families, and runs specialist groups for young parents, families with children who have additional needs, and Understanding Your Child’s Behaviour courses.
- The Early Years Team offer quality play opportunities, including Play and Stay sessions, music and craft workshops, and crèche facilities.
- We also offer volunteering opportunities to support the Centres outreach, group, play and community work.
- The Centres also offer access to Adult Mental Health Services, Healthy Child Clinics, Learning and Employment Advisors, and Speech and Language Therapists.
