Four Woods Children’s Centre offers a variety of learning, play and support groups for under-fives and their families.
- Baby Talk is tailored for sitting babies and their carers. By focusing on many different aspects of child-led play with the use of treasure baskets, Baby Talk offers a time to play, chat, communicate and have fun.
- Baby Massage offers parents and carers an opportunity to learn to massage a baby effectively in a relaxed and friendly environment.
- Chatterbox Baby Clinic is a weekly drop-in clinic with local health visitors and Four Woods staff. It includes play activities for parents and children to enjoy.
- Blooming Buds Baby Group is a drop-in baby group for parents and carers with babies younger than one year old.
- YIPI Young Parents Group is for parents under age 25. The group features fun activities, days out with their children, as well as opportunities to meet other local parents and receive information about local services from centre workers and guest speakers.
- Little Green Fingers is a weekly drop-in group at Bluebells Children's Centre. We will pay visits to our allotment plot and get our hands dirty, growing our own fruit, vegetables and herbs.
- Mums on the Move is a gentle post-natal exercise session is for new mums. Workouts help to build on fitness after birth and are suitable for babies aged six-to-eight weeks (after check-up) to six months to join in.
- The Parent Forum meets once a month, providing local parents with children age five or younger the chance to input and voice their ideas on what they’d like the centre to offer.
- Walkabouts in local and surrounding areas, playgrounds, woods, parks focus on exploring, exercise and having fun.
