Safe in the City Manchester makes childhood better by working with children and young people who runaway or go missing from home in Manchester and Salford.
Part of The Children's Society in Oldham, the project also supports unaccompanied asylum-seeking and refugee children who need help to make the most of education.
Our service is free and confidential, we don’t talk to anyone about the things young people tell us unless they want us to, or we feel they are in danger, to stop the vicious circle of fear and harm that destroys lives and wrecks community living. We give children the hope and confidence they need to face their future with optimism. We never turn away.
