We support children and young people who are affected by child sexual exploitation

We provide a safe and accessible service for children and young people.

Our approach is to treat each young person as an individual and to encourage and facilitate them to make positive changes and choices in their lives. We work alongside them to assess, reflect, recognise and develop protective factors and resilience.

We work in partnership with appropriate services to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children and young people with safeguarding being the guiding principle.

We offer:

  • prevention and awareness raising sessions for children, young people and parents
  • individual one to one support
  • targeted group work
  • awareness raising for professionals.

Who is this service available to?

The service is available to young people up to 18 who are affected by child sexual exploitation in the Calderdale area - Halifax and surrounding towns and villages.  In some circumstances we can work with young people older than 18,  please talk to us for details of who we can support.

How to access this service

We take referrals from anywhere including the young person themselves, from parents or professionals.
