What we do
The training department at EYPDAS develops and delivers a range of programmes to improve understanding of the problems associated with drugs and alcohol. We train individuals, groups and organisations that work with children, young people and adults.
How we do it
Each programme is designed to give professionals the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively to a wide range of drug and alcohol issues.
Our bespoke training programmes are available across the county. Tailored to meet your organisational requirements and delivered in-house, our training gives delegates a greater understanding of drug and alcohol related issues, and how to resolve them. We are also available to speak at conferences.
Training packages range from basic drug and alcohol awareness to more specialised sessions, including:
- Biological, psychological and social effects of drug and alcohol misuse
- Working with young people
- Harm reduction
- Parental substance misuse
- Addiction and dependency
- Foetal alcohol spectrum disorder
- Awareness of specific drugs
- Legal highs
