Commission us

two girls running in a playgroundAt The Children's Society, our aim is to make childhood better for all children, especially the most disadvantaged and vulnerable. As a leading children's charity we transform the lives of around 45,000 children and young people each year.

Over 40 local authorities have chosen us to help deliver their services. We support children in care and young runaways, give a voice to disabled children, help young refugees to rebuild their lives and provide relief for young carers. Through our campaigns and research, we seek to influence policy and perceptions so that young people have a better chance in life.

What we offer commissioners

Our programmes vary greatly in size, scope and nature, thanks to a wealth of experience we have built up over the last 130 years. One thing that remains constant however, is our commitment to delivering value-for-money services. We:

  • bring the right mix of skills and flexibility to help you and your team achieve impressive outcomes, even in the most difficult cases
  • work in partnership with social enterprise agencies, local authorities and other third sector parties
  • deliver across all the tiers of need to create breakthroughs for those children and their families who already need multi-agency support.
