This is Who We Are

This is Who We Are highlights the extent of racial abuse aimed at children and young people from Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities in England. The report reveals that more than eight out of ten of those questioned (86%) had suffered racial abuse. Nearly two-thirds (63%) had been bullied or physically attacked. The Children's Society's New Londoners' Roma Project questioned 201 children and young people, aged from seven to 30, from several countries (including England and Wales, Ireland, Romania, Poland and Slovakia) about issues that affect their lives, and public attitudes towards their communities.
