Youth Alcohol Action PlanThis is a commitment from the Children's Plan, detailing the Government's strategy for young people and alcohol. The Children's Society responded to the 'call for views' on the Plan, which included; what information young people and parents will find useful and what are the best ways to communicate to young people and parents about alcohol. The Plan also includes expanding criminal justice responses to problematic drinking and perceived anti-social behaviour. We have outlined our position in the response, stating that a welfare approach should be taken when responding to young people who may have problematic alcohol use, or be affected by someone else's use.
