We support children and young people intensively to cope with the trauma of sexual exploitation. Our specialist staff spot the warning signs and make this exploitation stop.
Our charity was founded in 1881 by a Sunday school teacher, and our partnership with the Church has been of central importance ever since.
Jesus said that whoever welcomed a child in his name welcomed him and so we are committed to making a better childhood for every child.
We want your church to be involved too.
We fight for change, supporting disadvantaged children to have better lives. We are building a country where children are free from disadvantage.
We have many programmes up and down the country helping vulnerable children and young people every day.
We respond to government proposals, lobby on legislation, inform parliamentarians about our key concerns, and provide briefings suggesting solutions.
