What will you be doing on St George’s Day, Thursday 23 April?
Do you celebrate on our patron saint’s day, or does it go by unnoticed? Well, here’s an opportunity to do something a little different on St George’s Day.
Take part in our St George’s Day Bake and Brew and make a difference over a refreshing cup of tea and a slice of cake. Bake cakes and sell them with cups of tea and coffee on St George’s Day to raise money to make childhood better for all children in the UK.
You could sell your culinary creations at work to your colleagues or hold a tea party at home. Whatever you do, the money you raise will help The Children’s Society to take action to rescue and support children in all our communities.
All the resources you need to take part are available to order at www.childrenssociety.org.uk/stgeorge or by calling 0845 600 8585.
What’s more if you order St George bunting, flags and other St George’s Day supplies through Partybox.co.uk with the promotional code PBCHILDSOC they will donate 10% of what you spend to The Children’s Society.
