Timetable to end child detention announced

Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg has made an announcement about the timetable to end the immigration detention of children. It will be ended next May.
Penny Nicholls and other representatives attended the event. The Children's Society - as part of the OutCry! campaign that we front with Bail for Immigration Detainees - will be commenting on the announcement shortly.
