'Please support Christingle... and make a real difference this Christmas'
For more than 40 years our Christingle services have been a key part of celebrations within churches, with the candlelit services now a firm favourite of supporters of all ages.
With your support we hope to make this year’s Christingle bigger and brighter, raising essential funds to support our work with vulnerable children living in poverty in this country.
Across the country, thousands of people are supporting Christingle. Among them is Alan Titchmarsh, who provided his support of the services and the reasons behind them.
Alan Titchmarsh's statement
I love Christmas with all the holly and the ivy and poinsettias to brighten up the festive season, singing carols, Christmas pud and turkey.
But Christingle reminds us that for many it’s a time of hardship, cold and hunger and it’s tragic to know that millions of children will be going without the essentials this Christmas.
Please support Christingle and the work of The Children’s Society and make a real difference this Christmas.
