If you have 30 hours, we have three options for ways to get involved and support our work

Ten of our fundraising volunteers

This year is the 30th anniversary of Volunteers' Week, the annual nationwide celebration of the incredible contribution volunteers make to this country.

Every single day our tens of thousands of volunteers and supporters help our work in hundreds of different ways.

In recognition of the 30th anniversary of Volunteers' Week, we have compiled a range of these actions that you and those around you can take to support our work, all within timeframes of 30, all making a difference. Today we present what you can do with 30 hours. (Also see what you can do in 30 seconds and 30 minutes.)

Become a box coordinator

By placing our community boxes in your local shops, cafes, community centres and other businesses, you could help us to raise vital funds to support our work with vulnerable children and young people.

Just one community box in a local shop could raise around £100 per year for us, making them a vital source of income for our work.

We will provide you with everything you need to hand out community boxes and organise your collections.

Find out how you can become a box coordinator.

Help make this the biggest Christingle year ever

For over 40 years, Christingle has been a key part of Christmas celebrations within churches. Last year we had over 5000 Christingle celebrations across the country.

The candlelit celebration is an ideal way to share the key messages of the Christian faith, while helping to raise vital funds to help desperate children across the country.

We have everything you need to plan a fantastic celebration with your free event kit on our website along with a step-by-step guide and start planning your event as soon as you are ready.

Get involved in Christingle.

Amazing things happen when people get together to fundraise. We are delighted to have so many groups from across the country raising money to support our work with vulnerable children.

Whether you are a group of friends, a congregation, students or colleagues we have tailored resources for your group.

Find out how you can DO something and organise your own fundraising event.
