Sophie, singer, mother and long-term supporter of The Children's Society said: "Well done to everyone at The Children's Society on their gold medal winning success at Chelsea. I love spending time in the garden with my children and The Children's Society garden created a perfect environment for this. I hope it encourages more families to get together in their gardens, enjoying planting, digging and watching things grow."

Aldo Zilli and his wife Nikki opened The Children's Society Garden and were later joined by Jo Brand, another supporter of the charity.  Other celebrities who beat a (garden) path to The Children's Society Garden included Floella Benjamin OBE, Moira Stuart, Jennie Bond, Geoff Hughes, Rolf Harris CBE and Will Young.

So I am thrilled that both the garden and the work of The Children's Society has won this recognition.”
