Marathon man Nathan Farrugia gets ready to run his latest marathon in his '27 challenge'
Maltese marathon runner and extreme endurance athlete Nathan Farrugia, will be taking to the streets of London this Saturday, 24 September in aid of The Children's Society.
Nathan, a 37-year-old father of two will arrive in London for the 14th leg of this extraordinary European '27 challenge' - 27 marathons in 27 days in the 27 countries of the EU. Nathan will be accompanied on his route by Joe Waterton and David Hounsell from The Children’s Society as well as staff from communications and PR company, Cohn & Wolfe.
Ferrero's Kinder+ sport are Nathan's sponsor, and are covering all of his expenditure. So far, Nathan has raised over 18,000 euros. This means that every penny donated goes to charity. And we are delighted that in the UK, Nathan has chosen support The Children's Society.
He says: 'I am excited about running the streets of London, helping to raise funds to help The Children's Society continue their fantastic work. I would urge everyone to visit our challenge website and make a donation.'
