Rashid is responsible for a growing portfolio of direct services that includes volunteering, early intervention and over 40 children centres and nurseries in England.
He has worked and volunteered for a number of national and local charities and began his career in the public sector working in education. He is motivated by a relentless desire to improve the quality of experience and outcomes for service users and to harness the abilities, influence and interests of stakeholders to make a positive difference to society
Rashid is a 2010 Fellow of the Clore Social Leadership programme and an alumnus of the Windsor Leadership programme. In 2011 he was seconded to the Office for Civil Society at the Cabinet Office where he contributed to the development of the national well-being agenda.
