Helen Leadbitter
Acting Programme Manager, Family Inclusion Project
Helen Leadbitter is Senior Project Worker at The Children's Society Include Project. She has worked for The Children’s Society for nine years developing services for young carers and their families across the UK and in Kenya. Helen now oversees the National Family Inclusion Project developing inclusive service provision for young carers from Refugee and Asylum Seeking Families and also families affected by HIV in the UK. Helen has developed a number of free national online good practice toolkits for all practitioners in a position to support families where there are young carers; including the Whole Family Pathway, Refugee Toolkit and the national schools online resource created in Partnership with the Princess Royal Trust for Carers.
