Walk & Explore London is the jewel in the crown of The Children's Society's fundraising events. It takes place on 12 September from our Base Camp at the Tate Modern and there are three routes to choose from; 1.5-miles, 5-miles or 10-miles. All three of the walking adventures centre around the River Thames, from Parliament in the West to Tower Bridge in the East, encompassing some of the capital’s greatest sights, from major landmarks to lesser-known treasures.

Upon your return to our Base Camp at the Tate Modern, you will be welcomed by a smiling face and a nice warm cup of tea/coffee or a refreshing soft drink courtesy of our headline sponsor, Ecclesiastical, to thank you for your wonderful achievement. In addition, there will also be the opportunity to learn about The Children's Society's vital work to help make childhood better for all children in the UK.

Our walk is also taking place at the same time as the Mayor’s Thames Festival, so why not pop along to that after your cuppa to take in some of the atmosphere and make an even bigger day of it!
