Broadcaster and columnist Vanessa Feltz is to front this year's House to House campaign.

Vanessa Feltz will be rolling her sleeves up and fronting this year's House to House campaign - our annual fundraising fortnight which takes place between 25 March - 8 April 2006. She's helping us call for volunteers to help drop special envelopes through neighbours' letterboxes and to collect them at the end of the appeal.

Says Vanessa, "I too will be knocking on my neighbours' doors asking if they can spare a few pennies to help the 100,000 runaway children, aged eight to 16, who flee family problems each year.

"Collecting money for the House-to-House appeal is a great way to get a bunch of friends together and get to know your neighbours. You're not just asking people to donate their spare pennies; you're giving them a chance to come together as a community to help children.

Last year we raised nearly £200,000 and with your help again we can do the same or even better this year."
