Actress and mother of two Patsy Kensit is giving her support to this year's Children Society Bridges walks.

The film and television star Patsy Kensit has joined forces with the Cartoon Network's top stars Scooby-Doo and Shaggy in support of the Children's Society's sponsored bridge walks, as the charity celebrates it's 125th anniversary.

Says Patsy, "I'll be getting my family fit this summer by taking part in one of The Children's Society's Bridges walks. Join me and my kids' favourite TV character Scooby-Doo down at the walk and raise money for a wonderful charity that helps disadvantaged children. It's a guaranteed great day out!"

Participants will each receive a goody bag stuffed with treats. The fundraising backpack contains a map of the route and a selection of free gifts. As an added bonus, children will the chance to have a photo taken with Scooby and Shaggy.

The Children's Society Bridges Walks have a fantastic carnival atmosphere and are a day out that the whole family can enjoy. There's live music, refreshments from local restaurants, plus face painting and the chance to stroll through and past famous landmarks. Everyone's sure to enjoy this great day out.

Saturday 2nd September 2006 in Newcastle
Saturday 9th September 2006 in Bristol
Saturday 16th September 2006 in London
