This year's event really felt like a classic - We were blessed with perfect weather and a fantastic atmosphere with Wilson Kipsang and Tatyana McFadden setting course records in their respective events.

We had 84 runners pushing themselves through the pain-barrier to support the vulnerable children we work with, and every one is a hero. Our CEO Matthew Reed has recorded a special message to say thank you.

I had the privilege, not only as a supporter of The Children's Society but also as a volunteer/employee to be asked to help out and cheer on the amazing runners at the London Marathon 2014.

It was an amazing day; lovely weather, GREAT atmosphere!!

A well worthy cause (amongst others!) that all of the wonderful people were running in aid for.

A huge thank you to Louise Payne-Davey, Finn Grant, Debbie Hill and all of the other amazing people from The Children's Society for putting on quite simply as a FAB day for all definitely looking forward to more events in the future.
