Get involved in Volunteers' Week: 30-week activities

This year is the 30th anniversary of Volunteers' Week, the annual nationwide celebration of the incredible contribution volunteers make to this country.

Every single day our tens of thousands of volunteers and supporters help our work in hundreds of different ways.

In recognition of the 30th anniversary of Volunteers' Week, we have compiled a range of these actions that you and those around you can take to support our work, all within timeframes of 30, all making a difference. Today we present what you can do with 30 weeks. (Also see what you can do in 30 seconds, 30 minutes, 30 hours and 30 days.)

You could join the 500 volunteers across the country who volunteer directly with children, young people and families in our children centres and youth projects.

Volunteers play an integral role in our service delivery to children and young people in a wide range of roles.  Have a look on our interactive map to find out if we deliver any services in your area or you can go straight to the volunteering opportunities section of our website to see what roles are currently available.
