You are invited to get into the festive Christmas spirit two months early this year by donating new and unused games and toys to the Access Self Storage Christmas toy appeal.
All donations will support our work with some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people in the country, who really need help, especially at Christmas.
Gifts that are donated will raise funds for often overlooked young people such as runaways and young carers, and provide support for families of young children who live in poverty.
How to donate
You can make a donation at any of Access Self Storage's 56 stores. Each store has a drop-off points where you can make a donation. From there, donations will be collected, sorted and delivered to our shops in the local area.
Kevin Pratt, spokesperson for Access Self Storage, said: 'We are really excited to launch our campaign today and delighted to be working with The Children’s Society. Last year’s appeal was such a success we collected over 5000 toys for charity and even received donations of signed boxes of "fashion Barbies" from couture designer Julien MacDonald.'
We urge you to donate soon so that the contributions can be delivered in plenty of time for Christmas. Santa will be collecting the donations from Access stores in early December.
Supporting young people at Christmas time
Matthew Reed, The Children’s Society Chief Executive said: 'I am delighted that Access Self Storage is collecting toys to raise money and awareness for The Children’s Society. As a charity we rely on donations to continue our vital work supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged young people, especially at Christmas time.
'Just £50 could help pay for a week’s supply of food for a destitute family of four, so thank you all for your generous help and support.'
