Gary Rhodes, Phil Vickery, Gillian McKeith and 'Queen of Cakes' Fiona Cairns are amongst those who have lent their support to The Children's Society's St George's Day 'Bake and Brew' campaign.

This St George's Day we are calling on people to put their pinny's on and get baking to raise money to help children caught in the vicious circle of poverty and neglect. TV chef Phil Vickery has kindly donated his tasty Cornish Cider Cake whilst Queen of Cakes Fiona Cairns has generously give us her recipe for delicious Lemon Cupcakes.

Said Phil Vickery, "I’m donating one of my recipes so you can get baking for childhood this St George’s Day! The Children’s Society’s Bake and Brew campaign is raising money to make childhood better for all children in the UK. Join us and see what you can cook up!
