Joining the ‘big feats challenge’ team for The Children’s Society means you will:
- Be helping to raise over £100,000 to help make childhood better for all children in the UK
- Be part of the biggest sporting and fundraising event of the year
- Have access to online training and nutritional guides, full of tips and advice on staying fit and running injury free
- Have access to our online fundraising guide, packed with useful hints on how to reach that all important fundraising goal
- Have access to our telephone advice and support hotline
- Receive regular email newsletters to keep you up to date
- Receive advice on how to set up your own personalised online fundraising page – the easy way to raise sponsorship
- Have access to our runner’s forum, blogs, maps, route planning etc through our partner Realbuzz.com
- Receive your own personalised ‘big feats challenge’ running vest to help you stand out en route
- Receive your own personalised cheering pack for your supporters
- Be supported at several cheering posts en route
- Be welcomed at our post-race reception in Horse Guards Parade (literally the end of the race) with a big smile, plenty of food and refreshments, and a well-earned sports massage

Already gained your own place through the public ballot?
If you were successful in obtaining a place in the public ballot we would love you to become part of the ‘big feats challenge’ team as an own place runner. You will receive all of the benefits of being part of the team, with a suggested fundraising target of £250.
However, if you were unlucky in the ballot, then apply now to become part of the ‘big feats challenge’ team as a guaranteed place runner and receive all of the benefits of being part of the team, with a minimum fundraising target of £1500.
Either way, you will be in the Flora London Marathon 2009 and you will have a head start on your fundraising!
