To find out, we asked 1,000 mums and dads how often they gave their children a story before they go to bed. It turns out that only half of dads read to their kids regularly, compared to seven out of 10 mums

To encourage dads to get reading, a great line-up of celebrity dads have recorded a bedtime story for the nation. They have videoed themselves reading Roald Dahl's hilarious 'Fantastic Mr Fox'.
