Greenbelt festival
The Children's Society is very proud to be an associate partner of Greenbelt, the Christian arts festival attended by over 20,000 people each summer. The festival boasts over 650 events including music, comedy, poetry, talks and drama.
We will be using the festival to highlight the issues faced by children and young people today, including young runaways and children's well-being.

In the UK 100,000 children under the age of 16 run
away from home each year. That’s one child every
five minutes, every day, all year long.
On 12 July 2011 The Children’s Society will launch a
new campaign to ensure that children and young people
who go missing have a safety net that ensures they don’t
end up as another statistic.
Sign up to find out how you can make a real difference to this group of young and vulnerable people.
Join the Make Runaways Safe campaign to win tickets to an exclusive Iain Archer gig at Greenbelt.
Iain Archer has teamed up with us at The Children’s Society to support the Make Runaways Safe campaign. He will be playing an intimate gig at Greenbelt to highlight the issue of young people running away. If you want to win front row seats please join the campaign by texting “Archer” to 81400.
