Thanks to you, this year we raised £29m from voluntary donations - more than £2.5m more than last year.
- From every £1 you donated, 77p directly benefited children
- The remaining 23p was used to raise awareness of our work and generate additional income to fund our three-year plan, which is to increase our direct work with children and young people. For more details, download our financial review.
a) Where we raise the money…
Our direct fundraising alone has attracted 61,000 new donors this year and raised £28.662m. Grants and other sources boosted this to £41.625m. See below for a breakdown.
b) Where we invest the money …
Despite a fall in Government funding, we maintained our spending on charitable purpose at £25.8million. We will continue to invest in our fundraising to ensure we generate income in future years. See below for a breakdown.
