Prayers for children at risk on the streets
Heavenly Father, your Son revealed that it is never your will that one of your children should be lost. Help us to play our part in building a world in which children can live and grow in safety and find a welcome that befits your Son who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever. Amen
Lord, we pray that you will help us to see those children who are lost, lonely and broken
help us to reach out to those children who are homeless and vulnerable at risk on the streets
those who are in fear of violence; and those whose lives are in danger
Through your Holy Spirit, help us to see these children through your eyes
To seek solutions that remove them from the dangers of the streets
To find ways for them to be heard, understood and loved
and to work to bring them the hope of a new and better life today
