A prayer for refugee children
God and Father of all humankind,
your Son taught us that to welcome a child is to welcome him.
Hear our prayers for children who have been driven from their homes
by violence and warfare, by hunger and by fear.
Help us to work together to build a world
marked by your justice and peace
where all will find a welcome that befits your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.
