'my church' Postcards
This year there is an additional activity, the ‘my church’ postcard that has been specially designed to gather children’s views on their experience of church and what difference church makes to their life.
These will be used to support the Church of England's Education Division’s review of the children’s and youth strategies, contributing to the future development of children’s and young people’s ministry in our parishes.
Through listening to children’s reflections in the context of ‘new life’, we hope to be better able to support and equip churches as they share the Gospel with children, nurture their faith and walk alongside them on the Christian path.
The ‘my church’ postcards have been designed specifically to hear what children think about their church and their friendship with God. We’d like to know how they think their church could be made better, and what difference going to church makes in their life.
- They can answer the questions in the blank leaf spaces any way they want
- They could write their thoughts or draw pictures and decorate the leaves
- There are no right or wrong answers, we just want to hear what they think and feel
- When they have completed the activity please post them back to us at the Free post address on the postcard
