Why are The Children’s Society working with the Church of England to provide this alternative activity?
The Children’s Society has worked in partnership with The Church of England since its formation in 1881 and continues to do so through numerous initiatives. Providing a resource for parents, schools and children’s groups for Halloween is a natural progression of our development of existing resources such as Christingle and Leaves of Life.
Surely it's obvious that some people don't want to celebrate Halloween in the 'American' way. But what's the problem if some people do? You’re just being killjoys.
