Our Christian values of love, justice and forgiveness underpin both the way in which we treat the children we work with and our expectations of their own behaviour. We believe that the right place to grow faith is within the Christian community. We would point any child who asked for such guidance towards their parish church, which rightfully has the responsibility for their pastoral and spiritual well-being.
The Children’s Society sees its commitment to social justice, including its campaigning and direct work with children and young people, as being part of God’s loving initiative in contemporary society. The Children's Society looks to 'convert' society so that it reflects the Kingdom of God by centering itself on children.
