Gavin, 16The Children's Society helped me apologise to my neighbour after I smashed her window and now I don’t get into trouble anymore.
Children in trouble with the law
Bullying, violence and deprivation – exposed to terrors like these, it’s not surprising that some children are driven to crime.
We seek lasting solutions to the reasons behind the statistics, providing preventative support and guidance that leads children away from the cycle of crime and custody.
We help individual children caught in the criminal justice system.
We reconcile victims with offenders.
And we campaign for society to accept its responsibility to see that young offenders are not hardened criminals and that they retain the right to be treated like children.
