Solihull Children's Fund works with children and young people aged between five to 13-years-old who are at risk of social exclusion. We offer a number of services that can be accessed by local schools, agencies and professionals.
Originally we worked with children from the deprived area of Solihull, though recently we have expanded to support children and young people across all economic and social groups in the area.
One of our key areas of work is the Youth Inclusion and Support Project (YISP). YISP has established an effective communication network with a range of youth justice agencies to identify gaps in service provision. The YISP team has also been involved in a study looking into the impact of our work with The Children's Society's research team.
