What background do the children and young people have?

Each project offers different age-groups of young refugees and Roma children with different types of support. For example:

- The Young Refugees project supports young refugees in Newham and other London boroughs to access services aged 13-19

- Refugees Aloud - the national young refugees media project works with young refugees across England aged 13-19-years-old, ensuring young people are given a medium to express themselves

- The Roma Schools Liaison project offers advice on educational issues to Roma children, aged 3-18 and their families, residing in Newham

- The Leading Edge initiative improves access to education for Young People aged 11-18 in Newham

- The Roma Awareness Raising & Training project ensures young Roma aged 12-19 are given a medium to express themselves and teach others about their culture

- The Mentoring scheme provides volunteer mentors for refugee and Roma young people in Newham and its neighbouring boroughs
