What are our goals for the future?
The key challenges for the project over the next year are to continue to deliver work safely and meeting targets set and also to sustain the work beyond March 2010 when a number of the posts funding comes to an end.
Here are some top line objectives for the next year:
- For all staff to be delivering on their targets safely and with demonstrable outcomes for children and young people'
- To increase the profile of the project locally through developing project literature both online and paper based and to look for conference/events to raise profile.
- To develop and deliver on a funding plan for the project in order to be able to sustain and develop the work of the project
- To complete the evaluation and plan for the Destitution work beyond the pilot.
- To continue to recruit, train, and induct volunteers to support the project’s work.
- To continue to feed into The Children’s Society’s national strategy for work with young refugees.
- To look at other opportunities to develop.
