What do we do?
We provide child-centred substance misuse services across Essex for young people up to their 19th birthday and their families. Services currently offered include:
- Substance Intervention Team (offering primarily assessments, one to one counselling and support)
- Offender Related Service(working directly with the four Youth Offending Teams in Essex)
- Outreach Team (delivering programmes of drug education and prevention)
- Drug and Alcohol Referral Team (working with, and for Children Looked After)
- Schools Liaison Workers (in the Tendring and Colchester localities)
- Needle exchange(subject to assessment and Fraiser guidelines)
- Open access drop-in
- C-card scheme
- Telephone helpline (during office hours)
- Training (covering a range of programmes related to substance use; for individuals, groups or organisations working with children, young people and adults)
